I booted the last installer on my laptop with an x1600 and it had no
trouble at all.
There may be a bug with these cards on some machines; I don't know.
But it goes a bit far to say there's no support.

To expand on that, I know crap happens, but since I like Fedora and RedHat, I hate to see the news article's with, "Damn it doesn't work on my laptop..." and other stuff like that ;)
