There is more situations when machines which did boot using FC6
refuse to do that with kernels using libata as either disks
cannot be found or are not readable.  See, at least,

At least in the first case booting with 'acpi=off irqpoll'
was of some help. You may want to try and see if something
like that will work for you.

A bugzilla report is likely a better idea than just a note
on this list.
