You mean the test kernels from updates-testing? I was once offering kmdls for these kernel, but two issues came up: Noone would use them, and when the kernel was to become golden (e.g. move for updates-testing to updates) it more often than not got a last minute change invalidating all kmdls for it, so either way I had to face rebuilds. It would be nice if there was a way to be notified of new kernels as soon as they get committed. There is fedora-packages-announce and the rawhide report, but the info there is when the kernel is already in the wild, and scanning fedora-packages-announce/rawhide reports just for new kernels is rather cumbersome. I usually notice new kernels rather fast enough because I'm also hosting an official mirror. > Peter > > On 1/21/07, Michal Jaegermann <michal@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > >On Sun, Jan 21, 2007 at 09:27:08AM -0800, Per Bothner wrote: > >> > >> If you use NetworkManeger, turn off starting the wired network at > >> boot time. > > > >Well, if your interfaces are not configured with static addresses as > >only DHCP is handled.
