However, I am running with compiz enabled rather than metacity (I don't know what you are running). Here are the settings I have in my xorg.conf file. Section "Device" Identifier "Videocard0" Driver "i810" VendorName "Videocard vendor" BoardName "Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller" VideoRam 131072 Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" #Option "MonitorLayout" "DFP,NONE" EndSection You may want to double check that and look in /var/log/Xorg.0.log and see if the i810 driver or the intel driver is being loaded. It is possible that a bug snuck in the latest release.
