Almost there with a 2.6.18-rc5-git1-based kernel though...

are you sure? a week or so ago a whole bunch of drivers and other
"RHEL-ish stuff" got added... didn't seem like fedora is still on the
"close to mainline" track...

Well, I did say "try" and "typically". ;-)

But yeah, there are certainly a few RHEL5-driven things that have crept in lately.
