Yep, I quite agree. However, given upstreams reluctance to fix the
libdir problem (SuSE people are happy for things to be broken in that
way, but let's not go there ;-p), I doubt there would be much joy in
obeying this either.

I have a feeling we're (Fedora) are going to have buck the trend and fix
this doozy.
