Well I assumed it was, but then there was nothing to warn people about the test1 CDs so I thought I should check because it seemed unlikely it had been sorted for test1, and even more unlikely that the announce would neglect to mention this detail ------------------------------ Message: 6 Date: Wed, 21 Jun 2006 11:55:28 -0400 From: Jesse Keating <jkeating@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Announcing Fedora Core 6 Test 1 (5.90) To: For testers of Fedora Core development releases <fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx> Cc: Development discussions related to Fedora Core <fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx>, fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <1150905329.7049.39.camel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" On Wed, 2006-06-21 at 11:49 -0400, Alan Cox wrote: > > Well I assumed it was, but then there was nothing to warn people about > the test1 CDs so I thought I should check because it seemed unlikely > it had been sorted for test1, and even more unlikely that the announce > would neglect to mention this detail It wasn't sorted on purpose, and yes I forgot to mention this little wrinkle. And if so, can someone suggest a Paul> developer to work with in getting xfce4.4 ready for FC6? Greetings Paul. I am the Xfce maintainer in extras. :) I haven't pushed Xfce4.4b1 into rawhide yet. The issue being that Xfce isn't on a time based release schedule. It's ready when it's ready. I don't want to push 4.4beta in now only to have 4.4 final not out by the time FC6 is released. That would have us shipping a beta in a release branch. ;( There is rumblings on the Xfce lists that 4.4beta2 might come out this coming weekend. After that they typically do a rc1 and rc2 release before final. I will probibly push rc1 or rc2 into devel once it's out. In the short term tho I am looking at pushing out a new version of exo and Terminal. Those packages are pretty self contained, and the new exo is needed for Thunar (the filemanager in 4.4). If you are interested in testing those out you can grab some rpms here: http://www.scrye.com/~kevin/new-exo/ and add comments/discussion at: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=195435 Paul> Thanks, Paul> -pmr kevin -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
