Has anyone successfully configured bcm43xx modules?

I tried using bcm43xx on a PowerBook G4 12" using Fedora Core 5 for
PPC. However, I have had mixed results:

- When trying to associate with open APs, it behaves erratically:
sometimes I can associate with the open AP, sometimes not.
- When trying to associate to a WEP-protected AP, it always fails.

You have gotten farther than me with that module. I have never gotten it to connect to anything. (It configures, but does nothing when I try and connect.)

Since I have a working Athros card (using madwifi drivers), it is not very urgent to me. Other people may argue that though. (I have gotten the chipset to work with the ndiswrapper code at one point, but it no longer works for me either.)
