pppoe dsl is quite widespread e.g. in germany. for those that dont
have a router its the only possibility.

there might be reasons why its not done this way but then again no
pppoe support no network install for me.

i have the same problem here.
how can i start a network install via internet if this box is the dsl-router?
how can i setup eg. rp-pppoe (adsl-setup) in anaconda?
