Development currently has only UP kernels for x86_64 (no SMP kernel). At first I thought that only one kernel was being shipped (the SMP kernel) since the SMP kernel is now "standard on both UP and SMP x86_64 systems ... nope, it is the UP kernel.

Comments??
I'm assured that the x86_64 kernel is in fact SMP. However (as of 2.6.14-1.1752_FC5)
it is buggy and only recognizes one core in my X2. Bug#174894
