I have been following both the fedora-devel and fedora-test mailing lists and have not seen anything about this (or at least I do not remember seeing anything) ... Development currently has only UP kernels for x86_64 (no SMP kernel). At first I thought that only one kernel was being shipped (the SMP kernel) since the SMP kernel is now "standard on both UP and SMP x86_64 systems ... nope, it is the UP kernel.
