Hm? Do you mean link? Neither would ZFS under FUSE.
Yes I did mean link. Even putting aside any talk about licenses (lawyers
domain anyway) , I am not sure the FUSE API allows use to implement all
kinds of sophisticated filesystems with volume management or clustering
on top of it. Performance would be a huge concern for any serious usage.
FUSE is a neat hack but it doesnt make Linux a micro kernel.
