Hi
I had similar problems, but only on the subset of my systems that had
"enforcing"
set in /etc/selinux/config. I changed this to "permissive",
rebooted, and was then able to clean
up the problematic rpms.
I bothers me a lot that the added security features of selinux have
the effect of causing random
breakages with unobvious cause.
SELinux is undergoing a number of major pervasive changes in the
development tree currently as outlined in
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FC5Future. If the audit service is
enabled, the AVC denied messages in /var/log/audit will provide more
information on this or /var/log/messages otherwise. Setting into active
mode and providing the log information in bug reports will help fix
these issues.
regards
Rahul
