> Check the documentation: > info grub 'Naming convention' Nice way of saying Anaconda should RTFM. In actuality I had read "info grub" before posting. "Info grub" does not mention SATA. It appears that new motherboards are eliminating the traditional second IDE controller as they add more SATA channels. XP 2002 version install CD hacks this without complaint. So does 64 bit Suse 9.3. The graphical installation offered the advanced option for specifying where the boot goes. Unfortunately 64 bit Suse but not FC4 can run their install procedures in graphic mode with the P5GD1 and AIW X600. -- Chuck Forsberg caf@xxxxxxxx www.omen.com 503-614-0430 Developer of Industrial ZMODEM(Tm) for Embedded Applications Omen Technology Inc "The High Reliability Software" 10255 NW Old Cornelius Pass Portland OR 97231 FAX 629-0665 -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
