That doesn't really help though - core can't depend on extras "old" FC3 xscreensaver provided a fortune replacement shell script which would run extras fortune if it existed, and otherwise just display some basic system info (release, uname, uptime). Something like that is probably still needed for wanda, the big nose guy x screen saver, etc. later, chris
