It has been talked about.

The above Bugzilla has the current state of this.  Until we get it working 
well in an initrd for an encrypted root there's no point in supporting 
install to an encrypted root fs.

Without supporting an encrypted root there's probably little point in 
supporting encrypted file systems at all.
