There is at least one implementation in FC3. It's called Gnect and is in
the gnome-games package. I could have sworn there was at least one other
in there somewhere, but I don't see it right now.

Gnect isn't Go. It's "Connect 4" - akin perhaps to "Go Moku".
Go is played on a 19 by 19 board and has the aims of surrounding
territory and capturing your opponent's stones.
No Go playing program has got any where near strong amateur level.
