Dirk,

Both Gnome and KDE use the same menu description files, look in redhat-
menus package for stuff like:

/etc/xdg/menus
/etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu
/etc/xdg/menus/preferences.menu
/etc/xdg/menus/server-settings.menu
/etc/xdg/menus/start-here.menu
/etc/xdg/menus/system-settings.menu

and the *.directory files.  The file format conforms the the XDG Menu
specification, which we can't get to because freedesktop.org is down
right now.
