Hi Kim, I use clean installed FC3 from official ISOs and have all rpms up to date. I copied string from Your previous post to the /etc/hotplug/blacklist. I tried to put there snd-intel8x0 or snd-intel8x0m or both. None works. I would find the source of problem but I have no idea where to look. Why the snd-intel8x0m is treated as USB hotplug device? What this do to the soundcard. AFAIK snd-intel8x0m is the modem driver not soundcard. I'll try it also under KDE, but I'm used to use Gnome. regards Darek Borkowski
