'Course this must not be a "normal" machine - IBM ThinkPad A21p - as it
has been unable to install or run anything past FC3t1.  Built-in NIC
(Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c556B CardBus [Tornado]
(rev 20)) is apparently not supported.

Have lots of ideas, but perhaps none helpful.

These are also quite annoying.  I have to unplug/reconnect to get the
scanner recognized at all.

OTOH - FC3 is not likely to fix any of these, and overall looks very
nice on compatible hardware.  These should be on the FC4 wish/hope-not
list.
