It immediately crashes X with the generic NVidia (nv) driver with the error (IIRC): Fatal Server Error Caught Signal 11 Nothing unusual in the Xorg log that I can tell. Rolling back to the 6.8.1-8 series got me working again. This is not limited to nvidia. I have the same problem with an ATI 7500. Gerry Tool
