Do you have secure boot enabled?
There's currently an issue with shim that is preventing fwupdx64.efi working properly when SB is enabled. I know they're working on it - but workaround for now is to disable SB.
I'll check on mine in a bit - need to charge the battery up...

Reboot happens, but the firmware update process doesn't. Is anyone else seeing this?
