I did the upgrade this am.... 1. I still don't know what the switchdesk is suppose to accomplish. I've not used it before can't say if it should/shouldn't work. 2. No problem with the login manager (lightdm). I can login to a cinnamon or Xfce desktop. How about testing with sddm or gdm? I used to know where the list of available DE are kept, but I forgot. 3. I got the F32 background after the upgrade. 4.
