This is my proposal to change requirements and test documents in order
to provide Logging test for the LiveOS and Netinstall OS while not
changing the Logging test for installed composes.
There are three documents affected by this change:
Basic Release Criteria at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Basic_Release_Criteria
In this document:
2.5.4 System Logging - is being left in place as is. to cover logging
test for installed composes
2.2.2 is being moved to 2.2.3
The 2.5.4 requirement is being copied to 2.2.2
QA:Testcase base system logging at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_base_system_logging
In this document, Net install is added to the list as shown.
🔗 Setup
1. Install Fedora according to QA:Testcase_Boot_default_install,
using one of the release-blocking media (e.g. Workstation live image,
Netinstall, or Server DVD).
QA:Testcase Boot default install at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Boot_default_install
In this document:
🔗 How to test
1. (no change)
2. (no change)
3. If running LiveOS or Netinstall_OS run logging test according to
QA:Testcase base system logging before proceeding further. Otherwise,
Once booted, run the installer (if necessary) and complete an
installation using the default repository configuration.
Have a Great Day!
