I upgraded from Fedora 29 to Fedora 30 beta on my laptop. The system boots, asks for the drive password, and then brings up my login in GDM. I select my user account and then enter my password. The screen goes black and then goes back to the gdm login screen. If I try XFCE, it just hangs. There is no root password configured. Emergency boot hangs because it wants root for console. sshd is not started, so I can't connect that way. /home is on a separate encrypted drive with the same password. I am wondering if it is not getting mounted. I am building a thumb drive to see if I can get more information. I tried the #fedora-qa IRC channel, but it won't let me write there. Ideas? perl -pe 's/^\s+//g' *.py _______________________________________________ test mailing list -- test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to test-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
