It's not like dnf-system-upgrade would magically stop working when N-2
reaches EOL, so honestly, overall, I just don't really see the problem
you're describing in this mail. We've had the current release scheme
for years, people are fairly used to it; I don't honestly see that
officially supporting N-2 upgrades changes the overall story much,
we're just giving people another tool to use in the one month
transition period (and of course, in practice, dnf-system-upgrade
should usually continue to work just fine after EOL).
