I installed today's 64 bit C/D+MATE via pxeboot.
A week or so ago this would have resulted in a choice
of Gnome or MATE at login, and a working Wine.
Today the login screen only shows for a flash,
then puts the monitor in sleep mode. I was able
to switch to a VTY and login. From that I was
able to get Gnome from startx.
Wine is broken, can't install any of the programs
I've been using with Wine for months.
Maybe Xfce 4.12 will make it all better.
