The system IS bootable into F21 from the prior installation. But it has
been sitting here 'probing storage' for the past 10 min.
I suspect this has something to do with the nvram problem and whatever the
install did to get past that and what state the installation now thinks the
system is in.
Maybe this bug:

maybe.
Try to provide any information you can.
Same hang when I boot from the Server install DVD.
If it hangs long enough, if you can get to a shell and do this:
echo 1 >/proc/sys/kernel/sysrq
echo w > /proc/sysrq-trigger
echo t > /proc/sysrq-trigger
dmesg > dmesg.txt
How do I get to shell once it hangs? Or do I do this from the startup
menu, pressing 'e' and then whatever it says to enter a command?
Attach dmesg.txt to the bug report, and include the above commands as
a comment. Maybe someone can figure out what's blocked, or otherwise
misbehaving, if it's kernel related.
How am I going to get this output? Can I mount a USB drive and get the
output from those commands to a file on it?
