There's lots of things that are prevalent in the world which I don't like either, but if you spend all your time being frustrated at them, it is going to negatively affect your wellbeing and your interaction with others. Mo is using a stock wordpress theme. It's a blog. She doesn't want to fiddle around with the CSS, especially since your view is clearly a minority one, even if you're technically correct. I get bugged by tiny fonts too, but it's kind of the way of the world. It is unreasonable to draw the conclusion that Mo is incapable of UI design from the evidence that she uses a stock wordpress theme on her blog. Again: please limit this discussion to concrete criticism, suggestions and discussion of the newUI design, if we're going to have it at all.
