Sorry to say, removing the rhgb quite didn't always fix it.
I had to cycle power.
The rc6 kernel is so much better it really should get in.
It's six days too late. You've followed the list long enough, you should
know the process...
Not only that, but the rc6.git0 kernel wouldn't have been usable for alpha
since it's not a debug kernel. It would need to be kernel-3.6.0-0.rc6.git1.1,
which just was built this morning.
