Good day to you!

I know that Fedora 17 is in the mind of everyone right now so that it can be releasedto the public...

I upgraded to FC18/ Rawhide today, and I wanted to burn a backup CD...

I put the disc in the drive, and it shows up on my desktop as Blank CD-R Disc...

It provides the opportunity to open with files dialog box...

I open up k3b as my software to burn to the disc, and k3b gives me the message:

No optical drive found.
K3b did not find any optical device in your system.
Solution: Make sure HAL daemon is running, it is used by K3b for finding devices.

Here is the output from running: lsscsi ...
[root@PartyingFrogs ~]# lsscsi
