Anomaly in Grub2 menu entries in F17-TC5

Hello,

Today installed F17-TC5 from DVD, and have F16(upgraded from F15) and LMDE pre-installed. The menu entries in grub2 seem to be showing some anomalous behaviour:

1) The main grub2 menu shows F17, F16 and LMDE along with their respective advanced options list item. An 'e' on F16 list item reveals the kernel to be 3.3.2-1 (have three kernels installed for F16: 3.3.4-3, 3.3.2-6 and 3.3.2-1). The oldest kernel is being shown in the main grub menu, as against the latest kernel.

2) Under advanced options for F16, three list items are being shown, all bearing the same name "Fedora Linux 16 (Verne)". No kernel is mentioned. The advanced options for F17 and LMDE shows menu entries with kernel versions.

3) An 'e' on each item in Advanced options menu of F16 reveals a reversed ordering of kernels, the first one being 3.3.2-1, next is 3.3.2-6 and third being 3.3.4-3.

The grub2 version is:
$ rpm -qa | grep grub
grub2-2.0-0.25.beta4.fc17.i686
