Noveau Wedge again.

Running the May 9 64 bet Fedora 17 I had another instance of the
Noveau Wedge. Under Xfce, after switching to a workspace with
Firefox in it or doing something routine with Firefox (don't recall
which) the mouse cursor first went intermittent and then disappeared
for a few minutes. After some more minutes the mouse cursor reappeared
and followed the mouse. Keyboard and mouse clicks totally ignored.
A program (WSPR) running in an unselected window continued to run.

After several minutes I got tired and hit the reset button. Something was
awry with the USB system. I had to recycle mains power to set things right.
There have been previous times when the USB system was acting up and
it took powering down and up to get things running normally. This may
or may not have anything to with the Noveau Wedge.
