Why not? And where are the symptoms described? Any bugzilla ticket?

GRUB2 can still "chainload" other boot sectors, provided that you add such
an entry appropriately.


I know my system isn't typical (4 hard drives, 4 operating systems: Win7, slackware, fedora, ubuntu)
I installed Windows first, then fedora, slackware, ubuntu) reinstalled the fedora grub2
and I don't have any problems
