OK, this is the 2nd time this happened to me on updating a machine from f15- >f16. I used preupgrade. 08:55:51 Upgrading pyparsing-1.5.6-1.fc16.noarch error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/lib/python2.7/site- packages/pyparsing-1.5.6-p\ y2.7.egg-info: cpio: rename failed - Resource temporarily unavailable And update just quits there. anaconda should be more tolerant of such errors.
