The reason I brought this up is my assumption that Fedora's Grub2 
installation might pattern itself after *buntu's, which destroys OS/2 LVM 
information situated in the sector preceding  the EBR for /dev/XdX5 even when 
all partitioning has taken place prior to system installation, and thus 
nothing should be written regarding such base EBR sector in the MBR table. 
IOW, the *buntu process advances the first sector of the extended partition 
by one from the standard location.
