I know that Nils Philippsen (maintainer and developer of s-c-s) has been 
doing quite a bit of work to get it working on a basic level with 
systemd, especially as things are quite different nowadays with systemd 
and lots more can be done with services.

He's currently out on vacation till end of next week, but feel free to 
open a bug about it so Nils will see it once he's back.
