My understanding in the FC core policy can be updated on request when the need is clear. Also, pam_abl has been suggested as a future core component and was not rejected, but put on the backburner, which suggests some period of testing in extras is wished by Red Hat. This testing won't happen if the package is blocked by default selinux policy. However it's up to Daniel and the Red Hat selinux team to decide this. Regards, -- Nicolas Mailhot
