Have you seen DShield's data on port 1521 probes? It suggests that Oracle security is pretty important right now: <http://isc.sans.org/port_details.php?port=1521&repax=1&tarax=2&srcax=2&per
cent=N&days=70>. I interpret the peaks as suggestive of one or more Oracle (TCP/1521) exploits in actual use, at an accelerating rate. So, your work would be most welcome, I suspect <g>.
