Two issues with the Addon Packages naming guidlines for Python 3: On May 27th, 2013, the following exception has been removed from the naming guidelines for Python Module packages: | There is an exception to this rule. If the upstream source has "py" (or | "Py") in its name, you can use that name for the package. So, for | example, pygtk is acceptable. The Python3 Module package naming guidelines still refer to that exception: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:NamingGuidelines#Addon_Packages_.28python3_modules.29 That part should be removed as not to cause confusion. [...] As a second matter, the examples at the bottom of that section mention "pygtk2", which does not adhere to the current naming guidelines anymore. What's the status there? Is this just a compromise because such older packages won't be renamed? Or would it be better to replace that example with one of the many python-py* packages?
