Summary: Review Request: mpich2 - An implementation of MPI https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=171993 ------- Additional Comments From dakingun@xxxxxxxxx 2008-04-16 19:29 EST ------- (In reply to comment #71) > > Well, that wasn't really my point. My question was, assuming you have > mvapich/mvapich2 available in fedora, then do we need mpich/mpich2? Is there > any compelling reason for it? I've just browse through its source and notice mvapich2 really seems to be a superset of mpich2, but I'm not so sure how much it support the commodity tcp/ip stack. I guess if we have mvapich2, mpich2 wouldn't be so necessary then; only that mvapich2 release will always be lagging behind mpich2's. The current mvapich2-1.0.2p1 ships with mpich2-1.0.5p4, while the latest upstream is at mpich2-1.0.7 . > (Not that I object if you want to do the work, > just asking) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
