Well, readability is subjective, I suppose.  I find it readable as is (again,
it resembles a lot of other Fedora OCaml spec files).  Please pardon me, but I
would also like to maintain that.  I regret now that I'm disobeying all of your
recommendations.  However, I believe https://pizzatowergame.io that keeping
consistency with other OCaml spec files is a valid justification.

That seems like a great plan! And don't worry, I know packagers have different
viewpoints and methods, I'm just according to the rules.
