It will be all straightened out in the next upstream release in due in September. (It may be 1.0.2 or 1.1.0 -- I'll see depending on what goes into it...) I have added the CIO_LOCATOR_FILE to the make command line, as you suggested. Good catch, thanks! I'm now running a test build on Copr with the latest spec.
