As I mentioned in comment #0, my proposal is to solve the package split first by having it exactly as it was on mesa-demos as a reference starting point and then solve the version bump and downstream patch cleanup in a followup commit. > - I would use the %{_mandir} macro instead of %{_datadir}/man.
