The preprocessor symbol CPPAD_TEST_VECTOR is used to change which template vector class is used for a large number of the CppAD tests. If the option --with-stdvector is included on the CppAD configure command line, the standard vector template class is used for these tests. If the option BOOST_DIR=BoostDir is included on the CppAD configure command line, the boost vector class will be used for these tests (and in this case, boost will need to be installed on the system to run the tests). For example, the file /usr/include/cppad/cppad.hpp is over a month old; see https://projects.coin-or.org/CppAD/browser/trunk/cppad/cppad.hpp but its time stamp is December 25 (when the tarball was created). In addition, there is an extra difficulty for the timestamps of the GPL license version.
