Fedora Account System Username: robert This package is intended only for EPEL 8 to provide the missing parts of the GNU Compiler Collection that Red Hat decided to remove for RHEL 8 (and it won't even change partially as stated e.g. in bug #1826731). So this is gcc-8.4.1-1.el8 from RHEL 8 modified to be installable along with the regular package and providing the missing parts. The package itself was as less modified as possible to make the differences hopefully easily reviewable.
