I hope to get back to it this coming week, in the meantime a question about 'Requires: git-core' git is not needed for most core operations in 'src', just for the fairly exotic git import and export operations. If git is not installed, we get the error message: $ src fast-export tamborine.org /bin/sh: git: command not found src: execution of 'git config --get user.name' failed: Command 'git config --get user.name' returned non-zero exit status 127. ... the remedy for which is pretty clear.
