A valid concern. We don't use any of the files under the revoLUTIONconTROL dir. It looks like I'm going to be the new upstream for mx5000tools and I've no plans for the revoLUTIONconTROL stuff, it is just in my github repo for this since I started by cloning an existing github mirror which has this.
