And it's clear that there's more communication that needs to happen in general about the purpose behind and implementation of the modules, before they go upstream (thanks for the pointer to kernel-mentors, Dave). (Can anyone suggest a preferred "fringe" repository to try getting this package into in the meantime, so that users that really want the modules can get them?
