Sorry for taking so long to reply. Indeed the mailman 2.x package is going to
stop working in Fedora pretty soon, with the end of Python 2, so it would make
sense to rename mailman to mailman2 and mailman3 to mailman.

I started with mailman3 because of EPEL, I expect mailman2 to be available
there for a while. Plus since it's a new package, it's easier to not have it
depend on the renaming of another already included package. Let's review this
one first, make sure it's correct according to the guidelines, and discuss with
the mailman2 maintainer what we want to do then. Would that work for you?
